We lately came across some phone, TV, and internet providers who offer discounts to veterans. We have discovered that some of the telecom providers offer special discounted packages designed particularly for older people. However, these TV and internet discounts for senior citizens are not commonly known and widespread as they should be.
The best part is that some telecom providers are considering the fact that most of the older population is usually retired or not working full-time hence not earning money as much as the younger lot. That is the primary reason why some TV, phone and internet providers have designed packages, plans, prices ranges and/or discounts to senior citizen’s relief. In this article, we shall share some special discounts for senior citizens in the U.S only, so they can avail them to their advantage.
Speaking of the US particularly, various providers give discounts to the older population, purely based on their age starting from 55 to 65. Nonetheless, some exclusive discounted offers are meant for AARP members only for paying $16 annually. Any person exceeding the age bracket of 50 is eligible to join AARP where they can get access to amazing discounts on travel, food, clothing, and entertainment. Some telecom providers including AT&T, Consumer Cellular, and Cricket Wireless are also on AARP discounts lists. We shall further discuss the offers made by each one of them mentioned here:
T-Mobile
There is a deal offered by T-Mobile where they offer a special discounted deal with the name of Unlimited 55+ to anyone who is over 55 years of age. They get two lines along with unlimited texts, talk-time, and 4G LTE smartphone data caps. Nonetheless, the primary account holder should be more than 55 years of age in order to get this amazing offer which includes automatic payment system by T-Mobile with a discount of $5. Already existing customers can get the plan updated once they are above 55. However, the new customers will be required to visit the store and them their government-issued ID to confirm their age.
AT&T

Charter Spectrum
A small number of internet providers are thoughtful enough to come up with an exclusive plan for older consumers and Charter Spectrum is one of them.
